DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival in Delhi transfer to your hotel.

DAY 02: FLY TO LEH
Early morning transfer to domestic airport and fly to Leh. Arrive Leh and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for acclimatization.

DAY 03: LEH
After breakfast half day tour of Spituk and Phyang. Afternoon free for preparation of the trek. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 04: LEH – SPITUK – ZINCHEN DRIVE / TREK 4 HRS
Morning a short drive to Spituk trek point where the mules will be waiting. After loading the mules, begin a short and easy trek of about 4 hours to Zinchen. Overnight camp.

DAY 05: ZINCHEN – YURUTSE TREK 5 HRS
Today again an easy ascend of about 5 hours to hamlet of Yurutse. Overnight camp.

DAY 06: YURUTSE – GANDALA – SKIU TREK 6-7 HRS
A moderate three hours climb upto Gandala Pass (4900 M), then long descent to Shingo or Skiu. The day long trek will take approximately 6 to 7 hours upto overnight camp.

DAY 07: SKIU – MARKHA    TREK 7 HRS
Today the trek is quite easy but number of times need to cross the river Markha from left to right and back, it depends on the season and weather conditions. The trek passes through a small village of Chaluk. Overnight camp.

DAY 08: MARKHA – THACHUNGTSE TREK 6 HRS
Today there are some steep ascends and the path can be difficult at the riverbed. The trek goes through Humlung monastery and a small village Hankar to Thachungtse pasture. Overnight camp.

DAY 09: THACHUNGTSE – NIMALING TREK 4 HRS
Today rather a short but beautiful trek to Nimaling one of the wonderful high valleys of Ladakh (4700 m) under the foot of Kangyatse Peak (6400 m). Overnight camp.

DAY 10: NIMALING – KONGMARULA – SHANG TREK 8 HRS
The first few hours are a bit tough to climb the Kongmarula pass (5150 m) which commands a beautiful view of surrounding peaks. The descent into gorges has few difficult stretch for ponies and several times need to cross fords. Overnight camp.

DAY 11: SHANG – HEMIS   TREK 3-4 HRS
A short and easy trek again down to Martselang village, then a gradual ascend to Hemis monastery. Overnight camp.

DAY 12: HEMIS – THIKSEY – SHEY DRIVE 45 KM
Morning visit the famous Hemis monastery and drive to Leh. Enroute visit Thiksey gompa and Shey Place. Overnight hotel.

DAY 13: LEH
Full day at leisure to explore the town and near by monasteries. Overnight hotel.

DAY 14: LEH – DELHI FLY
Morning transfer to airport and fly to Delhi. Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 15: DEPARTURE  FOR  INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
Morning transfer to airport for onward international flight.

ATOAI- Adventure Tour Operators’ Association of India, was founded in 1994 with mere handful of members. Now in 2008, 14 years after its nascence, it is a national body comprising over 150 members from across the country actively promoting Adventure and Eco Tourism in India. The association was founded with an aim to create awareness about the immense potential for adventure tourism in India and to harness this potential in a safe, sensitive and environment friendly manner. ATOAI members are recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) is the National apex body of the tourism industry. It has over 4000 members covering all segments of Tourism Industry. Established in 1982, IATO today has international acceptance, and linkages. Travel Agents Association of India Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) as an apex national body, has the objective of organising, supporting and providing a base for expeditions for mountaineering, skiing, rock climbing, trekking at high altitudes. IMF is closely associated with the Ministries of Sports, Home, Defence, Tourism and Environment of the Government of India. Foreigners can climb mountain peaks in India after obtaining the required clearances. The TASK has been founded to promote Jammu and Kashmir, LADAKH and to create awareness about the potential of Tourism and the best Tourist Destination throughout the year, we all need to plan for the long-term policy towards growth in Tourism Industry as well as protecting the natural , social and cultural environment, Save Lakes, Forests, Care for nature .Pollution free State is our slogan: To reactivate Tourism Industry.
